It seems that the agitating Gorkha Mukti Morcha (GJM) will continue the protest in Darjeeling demanding for the Gorkhaland. Supporting the movement of getting a separate statehood, Prashant Tamang, 2007 Indian Idol winner has said that he strongly backs GJM and its call of forming Gorkhaland. Tamang, who is now an actor-singer in the Nepal film industry is now planning to write and sing a song for Gorkhaland. He says, “What I am today is because of the people of the Hills.”
