Nepal Idol is the first international franchise in Nepalese television history. Nepal Idol reality singing competition that is part of the idols franchise created y Simon Fuller and owned by 19 Entertainment and FermantleMedia. AP1 TV acquired t
he production and broadcast right for Nepal Idol.
The series aims to find new solo recording artists from Nepal and the winner would be decided by viewers' votes through the internet, telephone or a text messages. This year too, Nepal Idol 2017 competition is running.And for this there would be audition in seven different cities of Nepal including Nepalgunj, Butwal, Narayangarh, Birjung, Biratnagar, Pokhara and Kathmandu in different dates. The judges for Nepal Idol are Nhoo Bajracharya, Indira Joshi and Kali Prasad Baskota.
The voting of the top 18 contestants has already been opened. And currently there was section of top 6 contestants. However, among these contestants of Nepal Idol, Buddha Lama is one of the strongest contestants. And also, the crazes of Buddha Lama's fan are increasing. Buddha Lama was selected from Pokhara audition but his permanent home is at Dhading. And today, his brother in law is introducing about Buddha Lama.
