The i!njured have been identified as Bishnu Bastakoti (26) of Bhalam in Pokhara Lekhnath-20.
Kaski said that the incident happened when the Bastakoti riding on the motorcycle (Ga 6 Pa 8128) yesterday was hit by the wire, which was yesterday evening by Ranipauwa in the roadside electric pole.
Bastakoti said a electric shock that burned the right side of his body, told DPO.
The locals and police personnel immediately rescued the i!njured Bastakoti and went to the Manipal Teaching Hospital where he was undergoing treatment in Intensive Care Unit, said police.
Bastakoti is said to be in critical condition.

The locals were enraged over the incident that the NEA personnel were entering from the area until they agreed to replace the wire with new ones.
Earlier, similar incident occurred in that particular electric pole, informed Keshav Marasaini.
The NEA Pokhara has started to replace the wire with new wires since Friday morning.
Just three days ago, Santosh Sunar was electrocuted while unplugging phone from charger in Gharmi of Pokhara Lekhnath-19.
