Nomination of the candidate for the third round of local level elections is in progress at all 136 local levels of eight districts in Province No 2.
As per the information received from the Election Commission of the Joint Election Operation Center, the candidates of the various political parties and independent candidates are registered for candidature of candidates from office offices and returning officers in these districts.
The Election Commission said that the candidacy of 10 candidates and candidates in the peace process, at the office of eight chief election officers and returning officers, is underway.
Commission's spokesperson Nawaraj Dhakal said those who seek forms for registration of candidacy and its registration are from the offices of the returning officers thronging, and this task is going smoothly.
The Election Commission has set the time from 10 am to 5 pm for registration of candidacy for the 136 local levels, including one metropolitan city, three sub-metropolitan cities, 73 municipalities and 59 rural municipalities for the candidature. in province 2.
