Kathmandu - Former Health Minister Gagan Thapa has said that the health insurance law passed from Parliament was historic achievement.

Health Insurance Bill Thapa prepared and presented in Parliament when he was a health minister. Speaking with health news, former Minister Thapa has told that all the law enforcement agencies have the right to equal access to quality treatment of the citizen.

"No citizen should have to be afraid that if no citizen has no money, I do not have to be afraid of getting treatment," he said, 'Now there is a condition that the participants of the insurance should not be forced to sell home for treatment.'

He stressed the need for help to make the insurance successful by opening the door of equal access to the treatment of all citizens.
